Our first generation ADXL202JE sensors from Analog Devices,
fitted on our custom built
PCB with dual-channel opAmp. About 4x4mm
|
|
|
Our second generation with a strong led inside a weather-proof plastic tube.
In order to quickly mount multiple sensors,
they are constructed with standard rj-45 connector.

Sensors connections
|
|
|
Patch panel is used for each tree to connect all it's sensors
using one data cable.
In this example, the box is hidden inside a bird's tree-house-nest.
Data and speaker cables are connected either underground or
above ground.
All the components in the sensors network use standard LAN
connectors and cables (cat5/7).

Speakers
|
|
|
Our speakers are based on plexiglass
as acoustic-reflecting material. Rings holding
the speakers to the tree, while protecting it's surface.
